@SwiftOnSecurity My brother has had a hard drive in the freezer for almost 20 years. Threw it in there as a last ditch and can't bring himself to try it out and see that it failed.
I call it Schrodinger's hard drive. His wife calls it "can you get this thing out of my freezer?"

@cbielstein @SwiftOnSecurity@infosec.exchange - It's been 20 years. If it was absolutely needed, he would have thawed it by now. Give it a shot. If it works, GET THAT DATA. If not, trash it. :)
