I still think that bat is (literally) hanging arund somewhere by the house. About 4AM every morning (and at times during the day), I hear this chirping. Not quite a bird chirp, almost like a computerized beeping chirp. Fast and sharp.
@dolari bats are very cute but they absolutely DESTROY wood and their poop is dangerous. Be careful.
