@Holocluck - Yeah, it's a national chain. But the nearest one to me back in Washington state is a seven hour round trip.

@dolari For a brief instance, Joe's Crab Shack had a presence in the NYC area. Before that the closest was Florida.
It was an awesome place my cousin took me when he visited prepandemic. Great food, and for someone like me an amusing bucket embedded in the center of the table for shells.
Then it went away. Closest one now is somewhere in New Jersey. In other words they don't exist.

I remember Long John Silver having a nice crisp batter & fresh fish AND their hushpuppies were to die for. And something about cracklings added to the tray.
