Any one of my shortwave friends know if this was the shortwave time signal that ended? Or just the AM/FM broadcast that ended?
@dolari The time signal is def over for AM/FM on CBC. I thought they only did the time signal on AM though.
It's a holdover from a time when people used it to stay synchronized. Sad to see it go.

@cubeyterra - I wasn't sure if they did it on FM. I know that's a dedicated time signal broadcast I can pick up out of Calgary, and was wondering if they stopped, too.
@dolari OH, I hadn't heard of a broadcast of the time signal only. Makes for a boring show. But the 10:00 AM time signal was a fixture of my childhood certainly. Boop boop boop boop (silence) booooooooooooooop.
