@socketwench - One of my issues with both of those movies is how "clinical" they feel. Andromeda Strain is the keast action packed thriller I've ever seen. I kept watching more out of curiosity of what was going on versus out of a sense of fear or wonder.

Same with Colossus, although it dies have a few moments of shock and intensity Andromeda doesn't.
