Welcome to #WebcomicTalk. Our topic this week is "role models." Three questions remain.

Question 3: "Is there anyone outside of your art/writing community who has been encouraging that you want to mention?"

Please include the hashtag #WebcomicTalk and boost the prompt to invite more creators into the discussion. You can answer these prompts whenever you see them, even weeks after they are posted. We'll boost your responses.

@webcomictalk - While she's become inactive on Mastodon, CrystalFrasier (aka @Amazonchique and Erin Lindsey") has always been someone who encouraged me to move forward.

We met when my Closetspace was updating regularly and her Venus Envy webcomic was a juggernaut of early 2000s webcomicking. We met via another webcomicking friend and roomed together at my first con.

She has ALWAYS gone out of her way to help promote my comic, doing art for me, or cameo-ing my characters in VE. We've become close friends since, and now her encouragement goes towards helping me during my move to Seattle (where she was living), offering me occasional typesetting and writing jobs, and, for a time, letting me be her roommate.

She's an amazing person, and don't let her tell you otherwise.
