Unexpected side effect of learning Dutch, that German has begun to look at times tantalisingly near to comprehensible too
@aesmael - one of the oddest things was me listening to someone speaking Latin, and knowing Spanish, hearing the occasional signal pop through the noise. Same with Italian.
