Heh. I don't think about this much, but having a surround sound system reminds me that I have some hearing loss in my left ear. I've had it forever, so I don't think about it, but I was wondering, why is everything shifted to the right?

@dolari can you equalize the balance to slightly favor the left channels to compensate? Or would that not help?

@hermitary - Windows, yes. PS5, no. It's not a big enough deal to be a problem though.

@dolari I’m glad it’s not much of a problem. As important as music is to me, I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t take full advantage of what the field of sound offers.

@hermitary - I hear that, no pun intended. I do have a quality issue with 5.1, and that's the LFE. I'm used to having "full rich sound" through the subwoofer in 2.1. In 5.1, it really sounds a lot more tinny, cause the LFE only plays when sound is channeled to it. I'm guessing in 2.1 it just plays everything below a certain frequency.
