Thoughts Before Bed

So, after seeing my electricity bill at $250, I set my thermostat down from 73 to 68 to see if I could save some cash. I do start feeling chilly around 70, so I started wearing a bit more clothes to stay warm.

Tonight, I was feeling chilly, and thought about the recent posts about the sweater/legging combo and thought "Don't I have a set of leggings from back when I lost a ton of weight on ketoacidosis?" Turns out I do, so I decided to put them on with a T-shirt to stay warm.

Something that has always bothered me (other than knowing I gained all the weight back thanks to antidepressants that did more harm than good and the fact that leggings end up tight in the calves and loose in the hips) since I transitioned was tight clothing.

I've always found things like leggings, or wraparounds and some of my more stretchy tops, which aren't so much tight as they're form fitting to feel very constricting. I wondered if that was because they're tailored to a shape I don't really have, but it's more of a "this bothers me" feeling versus a "this doesn't fit me." In fact, I'd forgotten I bought another pair of leggings to try and get over that "this bothers me feeling."

I wonder if I had been raised as a girl, where you get dressed up in tights and close fitting clothes from an early age, if I'd have gotten used to that snug feeling.

I obviously never got over that feeling cause I completely forgot I had two set of leggings for over ten years. :)

@dolari speaking of tights I bought some from that site you recommended and tbh they're the most comfortable tights I've ever encountered!

@SpicyNugget - I love love LOVE them. Especially their opaque ones as I have biking and psoriasis scars on my legs.
