Theory/lit discussion

Yesterday i read the xenofeminist manifesto it was an interesting read but i dont think i understood it fully? From what i read its mostly about using technology to fully liberate those who are oppressed from the patriarchy? And that "by nature" is nothing more than a catchall for reactionary thought. Think im oaraphrasing something here that goes like "if nature is wrong, change it?"

Its an interesting discussion because as technology is more often used in a vain attempt to control us it has also made the spread of information much easier and has also given the people way more means to extend their thoughts and messages as far as possible. Such is true with every new technological advent for better or worse.

For every closed source, user hostile piece of garbage theres an equal scene of free to use, open source software being made every single day. It cannot be denied that both have their "markets" but you arent winning people over by breaking their backs over how much we have to pay. (This is a bit of a tangent but bear with me) but i hope one day people really stop feeding the beast when it comes to subscription based software. Its the most fucking cancer thing from these techbro scum.

Systems as a whole be it biological or synthetic also play a hand in that venture its no doubt with the advent of the internet, resources such as DIYHRT.wiki wouldnt fucking exist. Even resources that would have spread 50-100 years ago via word of mouth now spread exponentially faster due to the internet.

Its interesting i read the blackpaper first because its probably obvious that said paper was inflienced by this piece (i mean hell this is fucking social.xenofem.me thats p fucking obvious) tho i felt like i understood that one a but more. Idk. My comprehension skills have noticeably gotten worse and as such my writing/analysis has gotten worse well.

only other thing i can think of rn is that Visuals hurt my eyes and made text hard to read without highlightingnfirst.

Tl;dr its an interesting short little read if you are into reading theory its worth your time 7.8/10 too much water.
