here's what my new hairdo looks like when I use my own products and styling techniques 
I'm so happy with this cut and I like the look and feel even better when I style it with soft curls like this 
the back's a little messy in the final pic but it still shows the length well!

@dolari it's a constant struggle to get volume at the roots! our hair is heavy 😅 before this cut, it was definitely straighter up top than it is now, and it's still not all that curly up there.
if you don't mind a few suggestions:
- some girls like to clip their curls up at the scalp while it dries, so that it doesn't dry flat.
- stiffer-hold product helps too, but I like my hair to be nice n soft so I keep it light.
- pineappling at night also helps a lot for not having squashed day 2 hair.
