@socketwench - One of the things I enjoyed about that ending was how simple it was. A friend was worried about spoilers as she wouldn't be seeing the show until Saturday. And I couldn't tell her anything I would have considered a spoiler. No surprises, no last minute swerves (well, that one at the very end), it was just "pull the lever and let everything you set up play out." It was simple and satisfying (to me at least). And after a season of swerves, cameos and frankly a little more fanservice than even I liked, simple and satisfying is more than enough.
