Personally I don't comprehend that once people have accumulated a couple million bucks why they don't buy a small house in a massive subdivision and largely vanish from society

@spottyfox - I actually have a plan if I ever won the lottery and that's basically to live the middle class lifestyle. My only real indulgence would be probably a small isolated cabin-style house out in the woods.
