My #SecondLife avatar is 18 years old. I have seen it all man. Yes, this happened with flexi AND with sculpties. Every single major development to bring this thing in line with modern computer capabilities at the time has been met with hostility.

I'm not going to cater to someone who has a 10-15 year old computer, that's ridiculous. Some residents expect it, but every single update for me has been a treasure trove of stuff that wasn't possible before. That's really what keeps me developing stuff for it vs any other virtual world.
