Watching the ADV English dub of Macross for the first time in a while, and I'm noticing that Monica Rial seems to be really channeling Melanie MacQueen in her first few scenes as Misa. I wonder if that was on purpose.
Eventually she loses that "Melanie-ness" pretty quickly, even before the end of the first act. It was a good imitation, though. :)
