I am eating a Nanaimo Bar for the first time since I became diabetic (as a rare treat, I promise).

1) I have severely lost my sweet tooth. This is...almost inedible.
2) No wonder I became diabetic. Holy cow.

Yeah. Hard reducing carbs and sugars make some of my formerly favorite desserts almost inedible.

I now find myself quite satisfied with literally just one but or one spoon of the mega sweet stuff.
