i am 47 years old. i have a house, a mortgage, insurance. i have a job, a family, and an ever-spiraling fractal cloud of responsibilities, requirements, expectations, debts, allegiances, hopes and deep, deep fears that surround and permeate my every waking moment.

the raw, bleating, uncanny NEED i currently feel to have Princess Daisy be a part of the next Super Mario Bros. movie is a dramatically outsized part of that fractal cloud in that it has eclipsed both reason and social nicety.

to wit: [deeeep inhale] EVERYBODY HEAR ME OUT I'M THINKING STEPHANIE BEATRIZ FOR VA, SHE COULD FLY TO THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM IN TATANGA'S SPACESHIP, SARASALAND COULD BE LIKE A COMBINATION ANCIENT EGYPT/AZTECA CIVILIZATION AND BE THE SETTING FOR THE NEXT MOVIE, SHE COULD BE PEACH'S SISTER AND THERE'S LIKE AN ANCIENT ORDER OF PRINCESSES AND THAT SETS UP THE GALAXY MOVIE WITH ROSALINA, AND ALSO DAISY SPENDS LIKE TWENTY MINUTES OF THE MOVIE MAKING OUT WITH SAMUS ARAN, NO CUTS, 500 MILLION OPENING WEEKEND, NOBEL PRIZE FOR MOVIES, DE NIRO AND PACINO ARE WARIO AND WALUIGI, YOU ARE WELCOME HOLLYWOOD

@zx3 - I've always had a headcanon, that is actually got a backstory that matches, that Princess Daisy was ruler of Sansara Land (as seen in Super Mario Land). After being rescues, she loses control of Sansaraland to Wario (if you kinda squint at Super Mario Land 3). She becomes a "claimant-in-exile" under Princess Peach.

THERE IS A STORY HERE.
