As part of testing my physical Atari800XL I installed an 800XL emualtor to make sure what I'm seeing on screen matches what I see on the system.

I have seen this text a million times, but I've only seen it like this during classes in the early 80s. Just the font shapes were enough to trigger that nostalgia feeling.

@drwho @dolari Does it say "READY."? Because that in C64 font suddenly became a candidate for first tattoo for me.

@clacke @dolari It says "412 / 724". I have pics in my account here of it.

@clacke @dolari They're the NPAs I'm from, 412 and 724. Western Pennsylvania.

@drwho Ah! Thank you. I was looking up if it might be school districts or something, but didn't find anything.
@dolari i remember both my mom and dad saying their schools had apple ][ e machines

Also i think my dad had used both a c64 and atarist but not sure.

@Mondobizarrro - My school started with Apple IIe, but moved to Atari 800XL in my later years. We were back on Apples in middle school and eventually I moved onto PCs.
