We made a cyberpunk world in Creator Jam the last two days. I helped by creating that ramen bar you see in all the cyberpunk dystopia movies.

My Tron aesthetic didn't come through sadly, but the team that put the world together really made my little primitive bar shine.

Everything that has a box is in it's box. Unless I'm actively using it, in which case I'll pack it when I'm done with it. I'll start the Big Packing on December 3rd.

Also there's a circle of hell where people untangle Christmas lights (or in my case, fireplace lights) for eternity.

I have had a shitty day, and I am now indulging in some self-care with the last of the homemade Blue Moon ice cream and a large slice of red velvet cake.

Packing up toys in the bedroom. These aren't so much toys as they're memories.

Lots of bittersweet here from my decade with Nintendo. Still the best place I ever worked, and the saddest place I ever saw descend into malevolent mediocrity.

All the toys with packaging in the office are repacked and put away for putting into boxes. It doesn't seem like I did much, but it sure felt huge.

Wow, it's been three days since the windstorm, and power is still out for a ton of folks. We were lucky to get ours back up in a about 12 hours....

That's a big fella. Apparently we won't be hit by it, but the winds being sucked into it are going to hit us in a few hours....

Ice Cream #4: Blue Moon

So, because I accidentally used buttermilk in my strawberry ice cream, I still had a cup of frozen cream left, so I looked around for another regional ice cream flavor I could make, and came across "Superman."

But one of the ingredients of Superman, named for the color, was "Blue Moon." I decided to go with that first, and try Superman some other time. And Blue Moon is GOOD.

Basically, if you want the flavor of Blue Moon, go eat some Froot Loops Cereal with a LOT of milk. Let it soak in there a good while, then eat the Froot Loops. And all the milk left over? THAT'S the taste of Blue Moon. In fact, if you could add some crushed froot loops this would be amazing.

This one was made with frozen raspberries, which it recommends if you can't find raspberry extract or oil. I wouldn't do it that way as the seeds get into the ice cream (I don't mind that), but the raspberries don't incorporate well, or deliver a strong raspberry flavor.

But I'd totally make this again.
