The largest part of my toy chest is now back on display.

I've always been a big Transformers fan, particularly pre-1984 movie. I never really saw then as a toys, though. More like puzzles. Sadly after the movie, they got very simplified and the puzzle already went away and I lost interest.

Still love those G1s.

Wait. You're telling me Hasbro sold me the same toy FIVE TIMES?!?!

Dang, I was a dumb kid. A dumb 45 year old kid.

With some time to myself finally I'vebegun the Great ReUnpacking. Finally got the Autobots all set up. Poor Megatron is out there all alone. He'll get some company soon.

It's 2025...twenty years after the Transformers Movie timeline. WHY DO WE HAVE CYBERTRUCKS WHEN WE COULD HAVE HAD THIS?!

The 4K TV is really angry with me. It wont' detect any of my HDMI stuff unless I very specifically power the connected device off, then on. I'm thinking it's my 5.1 Audio splitter. Or maybe that I forced the 4K TV to play a 240p Atari Game as a test.

A quick refresher on tortillas on my quest to make actually round ones.

Apparently I was making the testal wrong....as in not at all.

Parentalpocalypse Day 7

Didn't really have anything planned for today, but did see a commercial about the Quilceda Casino's holiday lights, so we stopped by to take a look. They did not disappoint....

Historic Occasion #8643: Dad's first Seattle Coffee Shack coffee....

Parentalpocalypse Day 6

After two days of staying in and hashing or a few things, we hit the ground for some roadtripping. Mom likes Twin Peaks, Dad loves snow. We all love Mexican food. Let's make it a Saturday

Parentalpocalypse, Day 3B

Mom mentioned the other day that she wanted to try sushi next time she was up.

Challenge accepted.

I actually had a plan for this, since they were both iffy about trying it.

1) I would pick the sushi but not eat it. They'd eat it, and if they didn't like it, I would finish it, and we'd move to another sushi.

2) if everything went bad, we'd hit Jack in the Box.

And the verdict?

Dad loved it! Mom liked it, but isn't big on cold/room temp food. She did say it was good but not something she'd seek out.

We didn't need to hit Jack in the Box, and honestly, I had to start grabbing plates for me because they were eating it all.

Mission accomplished!
