Apparently we come in designer labels now....

After being told repeatedly when I'd ask straight up for a pat down instead of a scanner (I always set them off and get a pat down anyways) that the scanners don't gender you anymore, I decided to try it. And of course it pinged me as having a foreign object in my chest, known as my breasts, and got the pat down anyway. They really need to fix that.

Also, mood whiplash between "I'M GONNA BE LATE!" and "oh...my flights delays, let's relax" is a real thing.

And away we go!

I'm all packed, my game systems, phone, headphones and battery pack are all charging.

Theoretically, I should just wake up, slap on some clothes, and get moving.

Injection date was rescheduled to the 24th. At least it's pretty soonish. It would have been sooner if it wasn't for the trip to Texas. Apparently, I wasn't the only person who got ignored by the insurance company, according to the person I rescheduled with.

Really feeling down due to the injection cancellation. Kinda done nothing today. To be fair, I planed to do nothing today, but this is not a necessary nothing. Just a funk nothing.

Insurance companies saying "you know, let's wait on this a bit" when your doctor is saying "you need this ASAP to prevent nerve damage" pisses me off.

@ZebraFeatherAH @icy_silvertail - I haven't drawn or written in years. Mostly depression and health issues. You're not alone. I draw when I can. Same with writing.

I squandered a fairly popular webcomic in the 2000s and 2010s because of all this. But I never considered the comics dead. Just...I do them when I'm able.

My spinal injection was cancelled at the last minute (it was supposed to happen in two hours) because my insurance never got back to the hospital about coverage.

Now I have to push out the injection another month, worry about possible continuing nerve damage in the mean time AND ended up putting out a friend who was going to drive me there so I could be sedated.

I really REALLY hate the American healthcare system so so so much.
