@Mondobizarrro @winampskins - Something that's funny is that my first GUI OS Was Windows 3.11 (my first OS was DOS 2.10). I had a specific color scheme I used back then called "Cinnamon." And I used it from Windows 3.11 all the way to Windows 98SE.
When I moved to XP, I lost the ability to assign colors to the windows frames. As I slowly migrated to Linux, I found out I could not only have the Windows XP framing, but color them as well. And now, my media computer continues to have "Cinnamon" as it's theme thirty some years later:
I totally get that online services need to sell ads and subscriptions to make money. No problem with that business model.
But on the flipside, it’s particularly irritating when the ads are by the same service you’re currently using, entirely to disrupt your experience, doing a song and dance about how, ‘Hey, if you want to avoid ads for ourself like this, just subscribe!’
