The problem with living alone is that when you're spending the day sick in bed, you don't have anyone to cook chicken soup for you at 9PM on a Sunday Night.

I think I have everything I need to make some hot and sour soup broth. That'll hit the spot.

I'm now past the "sick as a dog" portion of the illness and in the "I'm blowing my nose and coughing and it's dang annoying" part of the illness.

Wow, I haven't been this sick since before Covid. I'm feeling better than I was last night, but wow...that was a horrifyingly stressful sleep....

My autocorrect changed "breakfast buffet" to "breakfast nuggets" and suddenly I'm very interested in what a breakfast nugget would be.

Woke up sick. So my day is running kinda slow. :/

Windstorms really affect my town all wierd. When we had that big Bomb Cyclone, with the worst winds in decades, nothing here in town (other than power outages).

Today, where the winds are up but "nothing like the bomb cyclone from last month" and there have been two wind gusts that have shaken the house, and the trees are getting a good shaking all day.
