@socketwench - The production went as far back as they could with the film as they could, often going back to individual effects elements and recompositing them digitally. They rebuilt most of the movie from scratch. Not every effect was done this way as not every effect could be found, but when they could, the results were specatcular.

@socketwench - The 2022 Director's Edition is considered by the production company (if not Paramount) as the "completed" movie. It's certainly the best version in my opinion.

@Tekk - Zaucer Pizza in Redmond. One of the biggest things I miss after leaving Redmond. Best pizza I've ever had.

LCARS sighting in the wild at a local sci-fi pizza place. On the other screen they're showing Lost In Space.

Thoughts Before Bed

One of the most hard hitting plot twists in gaming for me is Caroline's horrifying fate in what's otherwise a fun comedic game, Portal 2.

Lost Media I'd love to find again. One of the first webcomics I knew of in 1999 (with a print version in the town I lived in back in the day), "She's a Bad Housewife" by Ellen Slingerland

Visiting Renton for reasons. The nice thing about this place is that when the wind hits just right, the smell of Popeyes wafts through the town

I was never a big fan of the Apple MacOS systems, but this thing was such a joy to look at. Round mouse was a bit of a pain, though.

Something I found refreshing was in our town, the city just "alerted the council" to the protest, but that "we are prepared." The preparation?

Various ppublic works folks along the march route not stopping the march, but stopping and redirecting the traffic away from them.

I like this town.
