Boss: Make it look like an accident

Hitman: *has a gender reveal party*

One of the bad things about the way I keep snacking down to a minimum is that I keep very little food in the house. Usually just what I need to make the next week's meals, and a few snacks.

Thursday is my usual grocery trip day. Thursday and Friday however are calling for Winter Storm conditions again and the roads from the last storm aren't all that great right now.

The good news is, I have enough cooked food until Friday. I've got frozen food for the weekend, and I have PLENTY of emergency food to last several weeks beyond (and this storm won't go anywhere near that long).

If the roads are good enough, I may try a grocery trip Thursday morning before the storm starts. Hopefully the road coming out of my apartment is in good enough shape to get on the clearer main roads.

If not, I'm not too worried. I have plenty of reserves.

I should probably top up those solar batteries, though, juuuuuust in case.

Suddenly craving a good fried catfish. Even in Texas, good fried catfish was hard to find with that tasty cornmealy breading.

My fave was Kato's in Center Point, Texas, but they haven't been around since I was, what, seven? :D

I really want to take the time between the Winter Solsctice, which is kind of the end of the solar year, and December 31 which is the end of the calendar year, and just make it a great big ten day holiday.

Heck, throw in January 1st while you're at it.

Let's drown this year, the last three years, on this longest night, drown them in oil and pitch, and throw them into the bonfire to burn up and burn bright and take their ills into ash and smoke and be no more.

Finally rebuilt the "computer center." Way more accessable, even with the wrong shelving. Pics soon.

The more I watch Star Trek: Lower Decks, the more I realize this is kind of what I wanted out of Star Trek: Redskirts.

Day 2 of rearranging the house. Living room is done except for swapping the parts on the sofa. Bedroom now has a new 2x2 shelf FINALLY replacing the TV tray I was using as a nightstand. The office has the new shelving installed....kinda. Really dissapointed in this shelving but it'll do the job. I'll get more into what happened later....

@spottyfox - So, I've had four of the five Sqaureat meals, and I gotta say they're not bad. But they're also not good. Mushy bland texture food saved by strong sauces. Best if fried in olive oil cause then you get a nice crunchy texture. I'd skip it for anything more than a novelty.

One of the things I like about Seattle is that we don't get snow often, but when we do, it's a good amount. Thick enough to be fun, not often enough to be a pain.

The updated Video Game Shrine. Always hated having the computer in the floor. Now it's got some space for itself, and all I had to do was turn the 2x4 shelving on its side.

Not that I bought an extra shelving unit or anything....
