Huh. Robert Blake died.

I might have been two degrees of separation from him. I knew a guy in the early 90s who claimed to be one of his bodyguards. I was skeptical, given some of his other claims, but there were a few times he was supposedly on the phone with him at the same time I was there. So who knows. I knew a guy who knew a guy.

What I know about both of them though since then makes me wish that there were a lot more people between those two and me.

Kinda loving that Trek productions are using fan resources and giving them credit for it. @gaghyogi49 keeps coming up in the new Picard, I've heard mentions of researching on Memory Alpha, and even I've been name checked in the TMP Special Features.

Kinda glad that the work is being used to good effect. :)

I love cooking shows, but more and more of the presenters have a hyper manic, shouty instructions kind of presentation that really turns me off.

So, at the risk of TMI, I have a colonoscopy (and a lot of other doctor's appointments) next week, and a lot of food restrictions between now and then.

Should I plan out meals next week at all, or just grab stuff as I'm out?
