I just realized, between nine months of dealing with Unemployment and Employer Paid COBRA insurance (both ending in the next few weeks), I've had a taste of "simulated" Universal Basic Income and "simulated" Socialized Medicine, and I gotta say...
I've eaten well.
I've made incredible progress in my medical issues.
I've kept my apartment.
And the only reason I haven't had time to be more productive in what I WANT to do is because I've had a pinched nerve keeping my computer screen time down.
Gotta say, it's working fairly well.
Over the the last few months I've been working on an SL home for my RL wife. She wanted something that had the feel of Inara's companion shuttle from Firefly but with more room. So I built a shuttle and created custom drapes/curtains, a few rugs and told her to decorate it as she saw fit. I added a few things and this is where we ended up. I need to learn how to set environments for everybody to experience. #secondlife #mesh #sl #virtualworlds
Four panels? On my CrustaceanSingles? It may be more likely than you think! (I don't know how likely you think it is.) #comics
Last Boost: Advertisers do stuff like that on purpose to get your attention. My fave is the Lion King "Bikini" poster. If you see it out of the corner of your eye, it's a bikini. Then you turn your head for a better look and realize it's a Lion King poster. The poster got your attention, which is the point.
