Looks like it'll be cold, but snowless. Still gonna grab groceries early Thursday, though - Any rain or snow that freezes later in the day is just gonna freeze solid and stick around until at least Wednesday.

Just realized I've been unemployed for a year and five days.

To be honest, Tableau took care of me in the end. I'm burning savings, but it's all cash from Tableau's severance at this point.

I made iced tea that tastes EXACTLY my grandmother's iced tea.

I never really knew how she made it, but all I did this time was boil a teapot full of water with TEN teabags, pour the tea into a large one gallon pitcher which I then filled with water...but left the tea bags in to steep while it cooled.

Sucralose and lemon, and it tastes JUST like hers. I guess she left the tea to seep a REALLY long time.

I used to not like Gordon Ramsay because of how shouty and angry he was portrayed on American TV. Then I saw a few episodes of his British shows, and I saw a side of him that was obviously edited out of the US shows.

He actually gives a damn, is hoping to make a difference, and often the shouty and yelly comes from when things are on the line and someone makes an overly dumb mistake. You usually only see this "nice" version of Gordon Ramsay in his Masterchef Kids show (minus the yelling).

This interview is super insightful and very eye-opening to his mindset and why he does what he does. And also hosted by my fave chaos goblin youtube chef, Josh Scherer. I wonder if they did end up brawling it out in the parking lot.

It does not go into why the produces edit him to yell all the time, but I think that's more of what the regional audience wants and what they want gets ratings.

Well. One of the medications that has had the biggest visible change in me, has made my life 100% better, and changed the course of my future...

Closetspace was originally planned to be a one season TV show in the 90s cause I didn't think I'd ever manage more than one season to begin with.

With most streaming services cancelling things after a season (or sometimes in production) NOW IS THE TIME TO STRIKE! Cause I don't think I'd manage more than one season to begin with!

Wind is still blowing but power hasn't gone out again. Given our snow chances this week, I think I'll wait on resetting all the clocks until were past this....
