One of the scariest parts of coming out is coming out at work. Unlike your family--blood or chosen--work is just a bunch of people who get thrown together, mishmash, and have to make things work out.

This week on #StainedGlassWoman, it's a guide to give to your coworkers when they get that wide-eyed look and think "Oh, s#!t, my coworker just told me they're trans." At least, it should keep people from asking what's in your goddamned pants.

Ah, well, let's check the To-Do list now that I've spent some time away from home and...oh, wow....

I checked out Google Earth in VR and they really should have simply called it "Godzilla Simulator."

On the ground in Seattle. Not a fun flight, Southwest.

So I bought a Whataburger for dinner for the second leg of my flight, but got kind of sheepish about unwrapping it. If you've had one, you know they reek of mustard and onions.

Then the passenger next to me whipped out a greek feta salad with green goddess dressing and I no longer felt guilty.

St George, Mesquite and Las Vegas. Area 51 is out there beyond that.

i have just been laid off

if anyone has any good leads on a job for me, please reach out

i'm good at embedded linux, programming microcontrollers, and old-school unix sysadmining, and have done a mixture of those things professionally for almost a decade at this point
