I think 2016 woke people up that The United States isn't (and has never been) a meritocracy; today's ruling is the nail in the coffin. It's a corporatocracy where you ahead by being a ruthless scammer.

People are incredibly scared, shocked, and angry today.
Try not to take every statement you see today as that person's final word and fully formed opinion. Also many people figure out their thoughts or process their emotions by writing it out.

On a serious note, if you’re not scared shitless, then please understand that you don’t understand the situation you’re in.
