So why was I making the People Trees? Creator Jam had a theme this week of "Things that Look Normal Until You Get Close."

When I was working on the "people trees" for the Creator Jam the other night, I'd spawn out a copy of my own avatar in a pose. The eyes follow you, too, so before I recolored her to match the tree, I kept getting "CAN WE PLEASE GET THIS OVER WITH?" vibes from the copy.

I have burned off my groceries a little TOO quick. But today at least I'm eating good. Minimal grocery run tonight.

Spent five hours in Resonite tonight making some "beautiful from afar but terrible up close" stuff for tonights Creator Jam. One of the few times I really felt like I belonged in that group. And we had a blast afterwards just hanging out telling stories and sharing stuff.
Good times. Cant wait to see the VR World they make out of my stuff as well as everyone elses fairly disturbing stuff.

Hey, all.

Due to a series of payment issues, I'm running low on funds and have about a week of cash on hand to pay bills. If you can help, I would very much appreciate it.

I have a Paypal you can donate to at the bottom of my website (where it says Please Donate). I could really use the help.

As you can guess I'm not having the best day, and coming home from some comfort food, I noticed a rainbow on the horizon, but it was "upside down." I was looking at the lower arc of a regular rainbow.

But for a split second my brain was all "Ah, that explains the bad day. Glitch in The Matrix."

The clouds were just too socked in. This was the only pic I got out of six hours of shots.

Still, two out of three once in a lifetime events ain't bad.

Lyrics Before Bed

"And no one showed us to the land,
"And no one knows the where's or why's,
"But something stirs and something tries,
"And starts to climb toward the light."

Random ham radio tip: if you're new, DO NOT BUY THE LATEST AND GREATEST RADIO WITH THE MOST BELLS AND WHISTLES THAT COST $$$.

Get something used or older, and basic. Learn how to use it. Operating technique and antenna has a lot more to do with radio than how much money you spend on anything (radio or antenna).

I've made most of my contacts on vintage radios, on antennas made out of scrap wire and PVC. Never paid more than $10 for an HF antenna, most of them are made out of junk I found on the side of the road.
