I absolutely love these "table top fire" warmers at the restaurants out here. But if I sat at one of those tables, I would be in flames in about four minutes.

I miss Texas Hill Country sausage so much. I'm willing to make the 150 mile drive for a proper sausage in Washington State.

My baking curse continues. I can cook pretty good, but baking breads continues to elude me.

We aren't in Daylight Savings Time anymore. It's dark so early.

Talked directly to an insurance company rep face to face in a benefits fair my job had and was told, in the most apologetic way possible, my prescriptions costs aren't going down no matter what plan I'm on. So I guess we'll earmark $525 every month for prescriptions moving forward.

Heard there was a possible tornado in last night's nightmare storms in Texas. Hope my San Marcos and Kyle friends are okay out there.

Those storms looked bad, even for me.
