A wonderful birthday gift from Crystal and Lissa. A lovely red bowl to replace my grandmothers old red (radioactive!) fiestaware that shattered during the move from Texas to Seattle. Love it, as my IKEA mixing bowls are...not the best.

I'm leaving Canada sometime Thursday. Trying to make a schedule for what I want to do before leaving, since I want to hit a place in the US before it closes.

LEaving Canada is always melancholy for me. For many years, I aimed at the Vancouver area being my home. While it didn't happen, I still feel more connected here than I do back in Washington.

I don't want to flee the US should the federal government go the way of Florida and Texas. But if I do, I hope I could make Vancouver my home again. It FEELS like home, still....
