And finally, the one thing I wanted to pick up on the way home, which is why I left Canada earlier than normal. Tin Roof Ice Cream from Edaleen Dairy, my favorite ice cream. :9
With the sheer amount of snacks and chips and candies and my food restrictions, I'm going to be set for snacks for a LONG LONG LONG time.
I rather liked The Flash. Or was it Amanda Pays. I think it was Amanda Pays.
Great article on 'why is the Fediverse seen as complicated' - https://amplifi.casa/~/FediStuffs/Why%20is%20the%20fediverse%20seen%20as%20complicated%3F
A good read even if you're new here (as it might explain some things)! Touches on expectations of people moving from other social media sites, how the 'official' apps aren't helping, getting used to community-first environments, etc.

I'm leaving Canada sometime Thursday. Trying to make a schedule for what I want to do before leaving, since I want to hit a place in the US before it closes.
LEaving Canada is always melancholy for me. For many years, I aimed at the Vancouver area being my home. While it didn't happen, I still feel more connected here than I do back in Washington.
I don't want to flee the US should the federal government go the way of Florida and Texas. But if I do, I hope I could make Vancouver my home again. It FEELS like home, still....
