Ah, the dreaded "pencils down."

I need to be up and awake at 4AM on Friday, so I've been doing a few things to force myself to sleep one hour earlier every day until Friday.

I'm now at a point, though, where I hit this spot where I'm most active, but I HAVE to go to bed. Doesn't matter what I'm doing...I'm DONE, finished or not. "Pencils down."

I HATE that. Cause I almost always have stuff to do, the energy to do it, and I can't sleep knowing something isn't finished.

So the next eclipse after this one is in April, and I Am Going To That One as well. Let's take a look at what's available via Amtrak and...26 hours in a coach seat. For $6000.

So, yeah, we'll be flying in on that one....

I might try the Espagueti Verde recipe again when I get back from Texas. This time without the cream cheese.

The recipe TASTED good, the texture of the super thick goop sauce was the problem. Maybe if I leave out the cream cheese it'll make a looser sauce that works better with the spaghetti.

No one has covid vaccine appointments before I leave for Texas (which I'd have to pay about $200 without insurance). That's not good. I wonder how much it would cost to get the vaccine in Texas if I paid full price....

Most everything in the house is cleaned so I'd don't have any ugly surprises when I get back from Texas. Still got several loads of dishes to do, but hopefully it'll all be done by tomorrow.

While we may not all agree on wether the Cowboy Bebop live action show was good or not (I'm squarely in the It Was Good camp), I think we can all agree the music was FANTASTIC.
