Holy cow. This is not far from where I had property in the Hill Country. And the third time in my life l've heard a story like this happening on the Guadalupe.

Hope my Texas family isn't affected by this.

What season of Babylon 5 do you think we're in? Early to mid Season 3?

Current Mood:

There is no pain, you are receding
A distant ship, smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move, but I can't hear what you're saying

When I was a child, I had a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons
Now I've got that feeling once again
I can't explain, you would not understand
This is not how I am

[Thoughts Before Bed]

You know you're making something good when you're done prepping the food and your fingers smell AMAZING.

Question for the Ancient among us on the Internet: Do you remember a text based program/app/website/gopher-thingy called "World Wide Window?" This would have been about 1993/1994 or so.

My college had it as what looked to be a text-only Web Browser, but it could have been gopher or a gopher front end. That's about all I remember about it. Any ideas what it was?

I remember the golden age of the internet. When it was a wonderful place, full of love and joy.

While my work doing movie archaeology is mostly centered around Star Trek: The Motion Picture, it actually wasn't my first real success. That was finding scripts and footage for Star Wars, pre-internet. Nowadays it's fairly simple to find cut footage, but back then, all we had were pics and scripts.
