of course, it all falls down without a charismatic and committed character actor to play the undead candidate.

ya know, Bruce Campbell *did* play Reagan once, and he's certainly no stranger to heavy makeup and fx appliances...

christofascist necromancers resurrect their failed candidate from the dead and prop him up as their candidate of choice. he has been to Literal Actual Hell and his message sways voters to align in a death kult that's just a few degrees shy of actual GOP dogma. it's up to a team of chainsaw-wielding socialist activists, a well-meaning liberal figurehead and a Panzer tank inhabited by the ghost of John Brown to save the day.

give me ten million dollars or i WON'T make this movie.

"the dead have risen from the grave, and they're running for president on the GOP ticket."

"The clip surfaced a little over a week after Knowles made headlines for a virulently anti-trans speech... that 'For the good of society... transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely...'"

okay so i can't handle the world as it is, everything moves too fast and there's too much to keep track of and just making the smallest effort is a serious drain on my resources. but some people *can* handle it and they are in sync with the gears and inner workings of the world and it's my job to cheer these people on and act as a source of countercultural inspiration and wisdom to help keep them on an ever changing track. in this way i can be true and useful to the Great Enweirdening and help push the species on to evolutuonary mutation.

oh god i turn 47 this month. oh crap. holy jeez

Carl sagan’s thought about books:
“When our genes could not store all the information necessary for survival, we slowly invented them. But then the time came, perhaps ten thousand years ago, when we needed to know more than could conveniently be contained in brains. So we learned to
stockpile enormous quantities of information outside our bodies. We are the only species on the planet, so far as we know, to have
invented a communal memory stored neither in our genes nor in our brains. The warehouse of that memory is called the library. A book is made from a tree. One glance at it and you hear the voice of another person perhaps someone dead for thousands of years. Across the millennia, the author is speaking, clearly and silently, inside your head, directly to you. Writing is perhaps the greatest of human inventions, binding together people, citizens of distant epochs who never knew one another. Books break the shackles of time, proof that humans can work magic.”
