So there's a YouTube channel I watch about aviation stuff that I really like. The host explains things really well, calls out videos designed to panic you about flying, and is a good source of info.
He just did a video about a woman kicked off a plane for not using the flight attendant's pronouns.
While he defends the flight attendant, he does so from a policy point of view of "it's more efficient to let the passenger go than the flight attendant." But more telling, he says things like "made up pronouns" and "they decided to use pronouns that weren't the real ones" and various other "bogus pronouns."
Yeah, not watching anymore.
Threads is quickly becoming The Mansplaining Social Media Service.
I've never had faith in staying in one place long enough for it to be home. So when I moved in here, I saved every box and stored it, because I knew I would have to move out some day. Likely not because I wanted to.
Apparently today is the day reassigned all airline approach patterns directly over my house. Kinda reminds me of the days when we lived on the flight path for Kelly AFB.
Spent the evening in the Arcade Time Capsule arcade and relived my Saturday Nights as a teen pumping quarters into Street Fighter II.
I've spent enough money on that game Capcom should just send me a HSF2T cabinet.
"Yeah, I can't do a dragon punch on this joystick."
"But, it's a great joystick."
"Oh, it is. I was barely able to do a dragon punch in the arcade, so it's perfect."

Transformers but they turn in to furniture instead of vehicles so they can just chill w/ some humans.
Next weeks meals:
Bean and cheese tacos.
Sammiches with chips.
Sausage dogs with chips.
Beef short ribs and mashed potatoes.
Gotta buckle down and burn off this food....
You know, in the 15 years I've lived here, I've NEVER felt an earthquake? Not even this one.
I don't know if it ws Mom or someone else, but I was told they wouldn't buy these cookies because they "tasted cheap." I LIKED these, but I rarely got them.
I didn't realize they weren't actually just cheap grocery store cookies, but AN ACTUAL THING. I love me a lofthouse cookie.
