You know what would be super cool, but also probably super expensive? Go back to the high-contrast original negative of TRON, before they did all the animation seperation, and recomposite the whole movie with actual CGI (there's CGI in the movie, but a lot of it is just cel animation).
I still love the original movie to death, but I wonder what that would look like. There's already a group who basically recreated the lightcycle sequence, and did it in under a day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2-yhFTCCzY
I've moved Mastodon Servers yet again. Thanks to a friend, I'm now hosted at the Drive In Saturday Mastodon instance, because I have also held the One Ring, for however short I had it.

So I have six MREs from different companies just waiting to be compared. So questions for you, the viewer at home:
Would you rather have pictorial review? Like just pics with text over it? Or a video? Which would be something akin to a slide show with voice over, cause I have no camera stand for nice full video and I'm about as photogenic as a tire fire.
Also, there are a ton of MRE tasting videos out there. What's something you'd want to see out of these videos that you don't get from other folks?

The final verdict:
The Thai Pasta Salad was absolutely fantastic. Gonna make that again.
The Spicy Chinese Pork I need to remake. It was good, but I thought to myself, "It coulda been sweeter."
Then I remembered that it WOULD have been sweeter had I bought Hoisin sauce for it. Instead I used Oyster Sauce, which is not as sweet, and is fairly salty, but what I had on hand.
The Cheddar Potato Soup is....serviceable. If you need nutrients, it'll get you there. Smells like feet, though, and tastes bland. It's not terrible. But not something
I'll seek out again.
