I also made "This Week's Bread" but I'm holding off on that until I try one in the morning as the recipe was overly simple and because of that, there was a step I likely missed. They look gooooooooooood, though.

This Week's Fancy Pants Meal: Wurst-Kohl Eintopf (Sausage-Cabbage Dish) (TAKE TWO!)

So the quartered potatoes weren't all that good as some of them didn't cook completely, and worse, the less cooked ones were made TERRIBLE by freezing, turning them into tubes of wierd rubbery-ness, making three of the six dishes horrible.

So I decided to try again, and this time chunk the potatoes, and that worked SO SO SO much better.

Tonight's "Sunday Night Movie" is Airplane! I love love LOVE this movie, and I think one of the reasons that a lot of other Leslie Nielsen or farce comedy movies don't work for me is the comedy in Airplane! is played 100% straight. They don't react to the jokes.

I absolutely love the Police Squad! TV show for this reason, but in the movies, everyone reacts to the jokes and setups, which really blunts the cvomedy for me. Kinda like having a laugh track in shows.

FINALLY finished the Transformers Movie Original Draft. Gonna take some time to process it, but boy, that was a slog....

I don't like playing the "Is This Deliberate Misinformation or The News Changed Between The Time The Post was Made and Now" game.

We often fear the future, the unknown. But a true warrior faces forward, confident that their strength and honor will help shape that future. Why should someone who carries their own light ever be afraid of the dark?

As a veteran, I feel it’s important to say every year that no political party or ideology or social class has a monopoly on veterans, and anyone who tries to force veterans into a mold (esp. a conservative nationalistic one) is simply opportunistic and should be ignored.
