A nice (official) supercut of some of the better moments of the best Classic Who story, The Curse of Fenric: youtube.com/watch?v=B9gbU7vRXS

Wow, The King of Random used to really be "How to build your own Intercontinental Ballistic Missles." YouTube has been showing me old episodes, and I know enough to be put on multiple watch lists.

Fun fact: Back in the day I was asked to make a good review of this movie on AGMK for the possibility of "a favor I could call in later."

I was immediately called out for the review in the newsgroup, and I never got that favor.

When I lived in State College, PA, I used to walk past this historical marker most every day on my way to work. Always wanted to see the computer, which my phone outclasses in probably almost every way.

A little goofier than I'd expect from a Dalek short, but David Tenant has still got it.

Hope they keep Jodie's console room. I love that design.

The more I look into that company's emails, one of the email address pointed to a no-longer hosted domain, and the second points to a website saying "Congratulations! Your website is now complete!" and was set up three days ago.

Yeah, no. Nightmarish number of red flags.

Anyone else having wierd issues with YouTube's ads lately? I just got an ad that appears to be for an election coming up in India?

How to make me wary of job hunting:

8AM - Get an unsolicited request for a resume.
9AM - Same company offers a suspicious salary if I call thier number.
10AM - Get an email with a time and date for an interview.
11AM - Get a voice mail with the alternate numbers to use to confirm an interview.

I've never talked or put in a resume with this company. Heck, all this happened before I even woke up today.

I mean, I REALLY need a job, but this screams scam.

Today I spoke as the keynote speaker for the Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil for City of Bellevue today. It was a bit overwhleming as I was not expecting to be the sole speaker at the event, but I did my best with what I had.

Since moving to Seattle, I haven't done much in the way of the TDOR, or even trans activism, as the Pacific Northwest has it's act together much better than Texas ever did. And I honestly didn't feel I deserved to speak as I haven't done anything in a long while.

But as a friend said, "it's not about being deserving - it's a duty."

And if asked, I'll speak again. Although I hope we never need another TDOR Vigil ever again.

Aka "this description of my gender exists for the purpose of cishets not asking confused follow up questions. It does not accurately represent my identity."

Today's the only day I can post this. I can't let it slip!
