The 2022 One Sentence Year in Review:
"Unexpected kindness is the most powerful, least costly and most underrated agent of human change."
I've had three of the most important moments in my life this year. All unexpected, all unearned, but done out of the kindness of two folks who were in the position to dispense it. And it's put me on a new path. That quote isn't just representative of the most important events of my 2022, but also has the added benefit of Just Being True.
2021: The Universe has decided otherwise.
2020: I AM looking on the bright side, and it's dark...very dark.
2019: Never push a loyal person to the point where they no longer care.
2018: What's left for a warrior to do after he's lost the big one, but win some of the little ones?
2017: He's very brave and very silly and I think, for a time he's going to be very sad, but I promise, in the end, he'll be alright.
2016: Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams...and against this peril we can never surrender.

2014: Sometimes, by losing a battle, you find a new way to win the war.
2013: All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.
2012: Here at last, on the shores of the sea, comes the end of our Fellowship.
2011: Seeking to forget makes exile all the longer; the secret of redemption lies in remembrance.
2010: Sometimes life has a way of moving you past wants and hopes.
2009: FINEST K.O....YOU LOSE.
2008: Jump...Jump now!
2007: Darkness was upon the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
2006: The show must go on.

Another one for the eggies: You can be a girl and keep all your hobbies and interests, including your sexual attraction. You don’t have to give up whiskey, or sports, or cars, or video games. You can keep dating people of the gender you’re currently attracted to. There is nothing you like that can’t be/isn’t also enjoyed by women.
I have tracked anti-trans legislation for 3 years. Every day, people have asked me where to move or how at risk they are in their state.
So I created the anti-trans legislative risk map.

So glad I transitioned and I'm happily trans feminine.
I don't think I could have kept up with the demanding male standards, and certainly not what is needed to be a true alpha.
It must be exhausting being at the pinnacle of the game and getting the dominoes to fall in exactly the right way so that you can show superiority by losing an argument with a teenager, getting super owned and then putting out a response video that gets you arrested for human trafficking because of pizza.
